Full specificationHome textile buying moved to short collections and quick refreshes. Retailers and marketplaces order 50 to 200 pieces per design, then change the design next quarter. Axis supplies DTF, flocking and embroidery machines that take a design from the file to the fabric with no screen and no plate, so a new collection costs artwork time instead of setup money.
Orders got smaller. Designs got more. The dates got shorter. Everyone who decorates fabric in India is being asked to do the same work in smaller lots, with more design changes, on tighter dates, at last year's price. Most floors are running equipment that was built for the opposite of that.
Short-run home textile decoration is done digitally, most commonly by DTF transfer, flocking or embroidery, because these carry no screen cost and no minimum quantity per design. A DTF transfer prints on cotton, polyester and blends, canvas, jute and velvet, which covers cushion covers, table linen, curtain borders, mats and bag panels. Axis Enterprises supplies these machines across India from 3 lakh to 16 lakh depending on print width and head count, with live phone and video support during working hours and an engineer dispatched on site in 24 to 48 hours from a 48-person team across 11 cities. Home textiles are washed harder than apparel, so test any process at your own wash conditions on your own base fabric before you commit a collection.
4 problems. The design change is the one that repeats every quarter.
A screen set pays for itself over thousands of metres. Retail and marketplace orders no longer come in thousands of metres. Last season's screens are dead stock the day the collection changes.
Most decoration kit is sized for a 30 cm chest print. A cushion panel, a table runner and a curtain border are not a chest print, and a machine that cannot cover the panel decides your design for you.
Marketplaces sell 1 cushion at a time. A floor that cannot answer a 1-piece order hands that listing to a floor that can, and the listing does not come back.
Home textiles get washed hotter and more often than a t-shirt. A print that survives on apparel is not automatically fit for a bedsheet, so the wash test has to be run on your own base fabric before the collection ships.
The published numbers say yes. Demand is growing faster than the average floor is adding capacity, and the growth is arriving in small lots.
Global direct to film printing market in 2024, forecast to reach USD 3.9 billion by 2030 at a 6.0% CAGR, according to Grand View Research.
India's custom t-shirt printing market grew to USD 176.6 million in 2025 and is projected to reach USD 407.9 million by 2034, per IMARC Group.
India's domestic textile and apparel market in 2025, projected at USD 350 billion by 2030, with over 45 million people employed in the sector, per IBEF, February 2026.
A market compounding at 9.75% a year while your capacity stays flat does not wait for you. The volume goes to whoever can answer first, and it usually stays there.
Order size decides the process. Get this the wrong way round and either the setup cost or the running cost eats the collection.
| 1 to 50 pieces | Digital transfer only. Any process with a setup charge loses money at this quantity, whatever the per-piece rate looks like. |
|---|---|
| 50 to 500 pieces | Digital transfer for multi-colour placement work. Embroidery for a repeated logo or monogram. This is where most retail and marketplace collections sit. |
| 500 to 5000 pieces | Digital still wins on multi-design collections. A single design in 1 or 2 colours starts to justify screens. |
| Over 5000 pieces of one design | Conventional screen or rotary printing is cheaper per piece. Keep a digital line for the samples, the repeats and the colourway extensions. |
| Any quantity, frequent design change | Digital, without argument. The cost of a design change is the whole question in home textiles, and on a digital line that cost is zero. |
| Raised or velvet finish | Flocking, for cushions, kidswear crossovers and fashion furnishing where the buyer touches the product before deciding. |
Your questions are not the apparel buyer's questions. Ask these.
| 1. Printed width | Measure your largest placement print, then ask for the machine's usable width, not the frame width. |
|---|---|
| 2. Substrate range on your fabric | Cotton, poly blends, canvas, jute, velvet, terry. Ask them to prove it on your fabric, not on a t-shirt. |
| 3. Wash performance at your conditions | Home laundering is harsher than apparel care labels. Test at your stated wash count and temperature before you commit a collection. |
| 4. Sampling before payment | Your own design, your own base cloth, before the balance is released. |
| 5. Hours to an engineer | In writing. Live phone or video help the same hour, and the number of hours to a physical visit. |
| 6. Consumable supply and price | Ink, film and powder for the next 3 years, from whom, at what price. |
| 7. Output at production pass | Sqm per hour at the quality you will actually ship, not at peak pass. |
Support starts on the call, not on the visit. Ring us in working hours and an engineer takes your operator through it live, on phone or on video, while the machine is in front of him. Most stoppages clear on that call. When it needs hands on the machine, an engineer travels: 24 to 48 hours, same day or next day in metro and tier 1 cities, up to 3 days for remote locations, from a team of 48 people across 11 cities.
Call in working hours and an engineer diagnoses it with you on the spot, over phone or video. For a unit with a shipment tomorrow, even 24 hours is too long to wait, so the first fix attempt happens now.
For anything the call cannot fix. Same or next day in metro and tier 1 cities. Up to 3 days remote. 48 people across 11 cities.
Your operator sends a nozzle test to our group every morning. We catch a clogged head before it becomes a stopped machine.
We install the machine and run your own designs on your own material, so you see the real output before you sign off.
Ink, film, powder, heads and spare parts stay in stock here. Buying the machine in India means you can keep running it in India.
DTF, TPU label, embroidery and flocking are all supported by the same engineers on the same terms. You do not chase 4 suppliers.

"We are using 3 machines of Axis Enterprises from last 5 years. Whenever we had any problem they took care of it right away. We feel Axis Digital Printing Machines are value for money with good after-sales service."
Kashyap ModiPromoz, Kolkata"I visited Axis office in Ludhiana to see DTF machine, the experience was great. I am happy with my decision to buy the machine and I would highly recommend them to anyone."
GauravSau Group, Surat"I am using Axis Machines since 2015 and few months back I got the latest DTF machine to expand my printing business. I would definitely say Axis DTF machine is best in market."
DeepakAkriti Enterprises, DelhiYes. A DTF transfer bonds to cotton, polyester, blends, canvas, jute and velvet, which covers cushion covers, table linen, runners, mats, curtain borders and bag panels. The limits are the printed width and the wash conditions, so check both against your own product before you plan a collection.
Measure the largest placement print in your range, then add the bleed you actually use. A 600 mm machine covers most cushion panels, runners and borders. Full-width bedsheet printing is a different process and a different machine, so tell us the panel size and we will say plainly whether our range fits it.
Run your own test before you commit. Send us your base cloth and your design. We print it and send the piece back so you can wash it at your own temperature for your own cycle count. That test is worth more than any claim on this page.
Our garment and textile decoration range runs from 3 lakh to 16 lakh depending on print width and head count. Tell us your panel size and your monthly piece count and we will name the model that fits.
That is the usual reason home textile units buy digital. One DTF line carries several order books at once, so when the furnishing season slows, apparel and bag work keeps the machine paid for.
Our sales team calls you back with the price, the delivery time and the document list your bank asks for.
We print it, send the piece back, and you wash it at your own conditions before deciding.
